Workshops, Seminars & Conferences

Service

Cost & Notes

Setting up and running a workshop or seminar or conference on behalf of a client

Costs of room hire, delegate rate, refreshments, stationery, equipment hire, contacting speakers, writing direct mail, etc, to be paid by the client plus £150-£350 per day (pro rata) for us to set up and co-ordinate – it depends what we need to do on a client’s behalf.

£350 a day during the event itself – we are happy to help with sign-ins, back-of-the-room sales, etc.

We need to be in early: clients pay for accommodation and reasonable food expenses the evening before. We are happy to help with set-up and meeting early delegates during this time.

For seminars of more than one day, the client will pay for our rooms and reasonable food expenses.

If the seminar ends too late for us to get home at a reasonable time, the client will pay for a further night’s accommodation and food.

Joint Ventures

This occurs where the client would like us to share the profits of a seminar on a 50:50 basis, rather than pay us for our time. Costs for rooms, meals and equipment will be as above, payable at the time. However, we do expect to receive 50% of the profits, not of the gross income.

As ticket prices range from £0 to £1,000s, we can’t make a hard and fast rule here! The 50% may be of the ticket price, and we may also ask for a % commission of the backend sales – we will establish this at the start.

Us running a workshop or seminar for you/your staff

£1,200 a day plus expenses.
